November 15, 2011:

It’s time, once again, for a long overdue update. Dave & Jeff have been keeping extremely busy these days, here’s what’s been going on.

In the spring, Jeff wrote the score for the Twilight Pictures feature thriller “Below Zero”, which premiered September 23rd at the Calgary International Film Festival. The film, directed by Justin Thomas Ostensen and written/produced by Signe Olynyk, stars Edward Furlong as a writer who locks himself in a freezer to finish a script only to have the lines between reality and fiction start to blur.

In other film news, he recently co-wrote the score (with James Jandrisch) to the Lifetime movie “The Hunt for the I-5 Killer”, starring John Corbett & Sara Canning, and had a little bit of music featured in the Warner Brothers film “Final Destination 5”. His score for “Altitude” was also honored with a Leo Award nomination for Best Musical Score in a Feature Length Drama.

Jeff spent some more time in the world of DeathSpank, writing music for “DeathSpank:
Thongs of Virtue
” and the recently released “The Baconing” from Hothead Games. Both games are available on Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, Steam, and the Apple Appstore. He’s currently hard at work on a very cool AAA title that he can’t say anything about, but will let everyone know more as soon as the information becomes
available.

The last 12 months has seen Dave very busy on both film and music projects. Since the release of his 3rd album - Dave Stephens • Time Will Tell, Dave has been in the full swing of promotion and touring with his live band. The album is now in rotation on over 40 radio stations worldwide, and has garnered some kind words from fans and reviewers alike. 2012 will see the release of a yet to be titled fourth Dave Stephens album.

When not working on music, Dave has been mixing episodes of the last several seasons of Blink Media Work's Get Connected and AppTV. Both series take an in depth look at the world of technology and gadgetry. As always, check out www.davestephens.ca for all thinks Dave related.
