Summer Love premieres August 20th

Summer Love

Jeff and Dave have recently completed work on the romantic comedy "Summer Love", directed by frequent collaborator Lynne Stopkewich, and starring Rachel Leigh Cook (She's All That, Perception), Travis Milne (Rookie Blue) and Lucas Bryant (Haven).  The film premieres August 20th on Hallmark.

"Maya Sulliway is a struggling single mom who's studying to become an accountant. When her young daughter goes off to sleepaway camp, Maya accepts a summer internship at Kizzmit, a tech company known for developing a popular social app, in order to receive college credit. There, the thirtysomething Maya feels out of place among the company's hip millennial interns and feels even more intimidated when she meets Colin Fitzgerald, Kizzmit's strait-laced CFO, who has a reputation for being a highly demanding boss."

Murder, She Baked: A Deadly Recipe premieres June 19th

Jeff has completed the score for the next chapter of the Hannah Swensen series.  Murder, She Baked: A Deadly Recipe premiers Sunday, June 19th on Hallmark, in Canada, June 30th on Bravo. The film once again stars Alison Sweeney, Cameron Mathison, Barbara Niven and Gabriel Hogan, and is directed by Kristoffer Tabori.

"With her brother-in-law, Deputy Bill Todd, running against gruff lawman Sheriff Grant in a heated sheriff election, an expecting sister ready to deliver, and a scary encounter with a car thief on her mind - Hannah feels her life has reached its boiling point. But things continue to heat up when she discovers the body of Sheriff Grant - bludgeoned while holding one of her homemade fudge cupcakes - and Bill becomes the prime suspect."

Three Bedrooms, One Corpse & The Julius House

Jeff has been back at work on the Aurora Teagarden series, recently completing the score to "Three Bedrooms, One Corpse", which premieres June 12th on the Hallmark Channel.  The movie is directed by Lynne Stopkewich (who Jeff also worked with on October Kiss and Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From the Heart), and stars Candace Cameron Bure, Yannick Bisson, Lexa Doig, and Marilu Henner.  

Jeff's next film keeps him in the Aurora Teagarden world, having just begun writing the music for "The Julius House", to be released later in 2016.

 

Murder She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery to premiere January 10th

Jeff recently finished scoring the next movie in the Hannah Swensen series, "Murder She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery", which premieres January 10th on Hallmark Murders & Mysteries.  The movie is directed by KT Donaldson, and stars Alison Sweeney, Cameron Mathison, Gabriel Hogan and Barbara Niven.

"With the Cookie Jar, Hannah Swensen has a mouthwatering monopoly on the bakery business of Lake Eden, Minnesota.  But when a rival store opens and one of the owners is found shot to death in the store, Hannah is determined to prove that she wasn't the only one who had an axe to grind with the Quinn sisters.  Somebody wasn't fooled by the Georgia Peaches and their sweet-as-pie act -- and now it's up to Hannah to track down whoever had the right ingredients to whip up a murder."

 

Jeff scores "October Kiss" for Hallmark

Jeff has completed the score for the Hallmark movie "October Kiss", starring Ashley Williams (The Jim Gaffigan Show, How I Met Your Mother), Sam Jaeger (Parenthood, Eli Stone), and Miranda Frigon (Primeval: New World, Heartland).  The movie, directed by Lynne Stopkewich and produced by Michael R. Goldstein and Harvey Kahn, premieres October 17th on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

"Poppy Summerall is hired near Halloween as a temporary nanny by Ryan Lawson, a widowed, work-obsessed executive.  Through a series of adventures, the eternally optimistic Poppy sets out to teach Ryan and his two young children what's important in life - unconditional love, family and the joy of everyday occurrences."
